A seminar dedicated to discussing the Hajj season for the second year
APEXSCI International University held a seminar dedicated to discussing the Hajj season for the second consecutive year titled "Continuing Achievements and Collaborative Efforts in Enriching the Service of the Guests of Allah."
The seminar was moderated by Advisor Abdulghani bin Naji Al-Qash, the media spokesperson for APEXSCI International University, who emphasized the importance of the seminar in enriching information and knowledge, as it includes a group of experts and specialists, revealing three axes for this evening that include enriching information in various fields of the Hajj season.
For his part, Professor Abdullah Saeed Al-Ghamdi, Professor of Islamic History at Umm Al-Qura University, confirmed that the Zamzam well is considered the most famous well on earth due to its distinguished spiritual significance and its connection to the hearts of Muslims in general, and to those performing the rituals of Hajj and Umrah in particular. Zamzam is the best water on earth, explaining that the story of the Zamzam well dates back to the arrival of the Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) in Mecca, where he left his wife, Lady Hagar, with their infant son, Prophet Ismail, who was then a baby. When the water ran out, Hagar thought her child would die, so she searched tirelessly for water to quench her son Ismail's thirst, running seven times back and forth in the heat of Mecca between two hills, Safa and Marwah, to fetch water.
On another note, Al-Ghamdi praised the efforts of the General Administration of the King Abdullah Project for Zamzam Water and what it provides in readiness to meet the increasing demand for the blessed Zamzam water through various distribution outlets, confirming that these services and efforts come in implementation of the aspirations of the wise leadership - may Allah protect them - to provide the best and highest quality services to the Guests of Allah.
For her part, Professor Amira bint Ali Madah, former Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at Umm Al-Qura University, clarified that the interest in the Two Holy Mosques and the sacred sites since the era of the late founding king, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, is a path followed by the kings of the country until this blessed and prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. This confirms the continuity of the approach that this country has followed since its establishment, which is the care and attention to the Two Holy Mosques and the sacred sites, to enable pilgrims and Umrah performers to perform their rituals easily and comfortably, in a pleasant atmosphere, as confirmed by everyone who has visited this pure land.
Madah explained that the expansion of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is a jewel of the works undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of Islam and Muslims, as they come at the forefront of the Kingdom's major concerns, stemming from its deep belief in the honor of serving the sacred places and Islam and Muslims. She added that all relevant agencies are concerned with the development of Mecca and the sacred sites, both current and future projects, foremost of which is the Saudi expansion project for the Grand Mosque, where levels of achievement and project elements are reviewed, and efforts are discussed for coordination between the relevant authorities to provide the best services to the Guests of Allah, aiming to elevate and advance all works and services, and to create a sustainable system that includes in its plans the human element, infrastructure, and social fabric in general, with the Grand Mosque and the sacred sites at its heart.
In this context, Sheikh Abdullah bin Obaidullah Atta, a program presenter at the Islam Call Radio and a former Imam and preacher, spoke about improving the services provided in the Two Holy Mosques regarding the role of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque in achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030 through its programs and services offered to pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors. Sheikh Atta addressed the services provided by the presidency in Mecca and Medina, from welcoming pilgrims and preparing and providing suitable conditions for them in the Two Holy Mosques to perform their rituals easily and comfortably, highlighting the efforts of women in the Two Holy Mosques and their role in facilitating and easing the process.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Atta touched on the presidency's use of modern and digital technology to accomplish its tasks to the fullest and its keenness to know the opinions of visitors and listen to their suggestions and complaints, indicating the cooperation between the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque with other relevant entities to combine efforts in improving the services provided to pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors.
